And I believe He created them with you in mind. ~ He Touched My Heart ~ We were driving through the countryside one day, when we rounded a bend and came face-to-face with a glorious display of rolling hills. (I'd call them mountains, but I've been told that, here in Australia, our 'mountains' are mere hills compared to the rest of the world. :) ) As I looked upon them in awe, with my breath held, I sensed God impress upon my heart, "I knew you would like them." Meaning, when He created them, He was thinking of me -- centuries before I would walk upon this earth. Isn't that a wonderful thought: BEFORE YOU EXISTED, GOD WAS ALREADY THINKING ABOUT YOU. When He created the mountains, the valleys, the waterfalls, the beaches, the countryside, or whatever it is you like in nature (dogs, cats, snakes, a certain type of bird; whatever you are fond of), God knew, long before you were born, that you would like it. Think about it: God had YOU in mind as He created the earth and everything in it... I find that amazing -- and, knowing this, I see a greater depth to His love for all of us. ~ Picture This ~ Picture a pregnant woman eagerly decorating her child's bedroom. Money is not a problem, so she sets forth to select item after item to beautify the room and give the child everything they will need from the moment they take their first breath. From experience, I can say that this mother loves her child with all that she is, even though she is yet to hold her baby in her arms. She wants nothing but the best for her baby, and she gets it willingly. Joy bubbles up inside her as she anticipates her child's arrival and imagines her baby being content, happy, well-nurtured, well-loved, and safe. I believe this is the heart of the Father -- Who, by the way, possesses both 'male and female' traits. Only, He doesn't imagine you will like 'this' or 'that', He knows you will. So, when I read, "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth," I believe God had each and every one of us in mind when He created nature. God knew I would love the mountains; He knew they'd take my breath away, so He created 'this one' and 'that one' just so, with me in mind. And He created 'this' and 'that' with you in mind, knowing it would please you. And not only did He make these things with us in mind, He did so with great delight. God rejoiced over thoughts of you AND your happiness. ~ Question ~ What do you love about nature? A sunrise? A sunset? The beach? The countryside? Birds? Cats? Dogs? A thunder storm? A clear blue sky? Rain? Fill in the blanks. :) _____________________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________________________________ ~ Challenge ~ The next time you're experiencing the part/s of nature you love, say:
~ Don't Forget ~ Everything God made, God deemed very good.
Nature is very good. Nature is very beautiful. You are part of nature. God considers you very good -- He created you just as He wanted you. You are very beautiful indeed. ~*~ |
